Specifically, based on structural/patent information on a target or protein domain of interest, we design a set of templates followed by the chemical synthesis of individual molecules in a medicinal chemistry fashion. Design of templates is overseen by a Client.
Goals: a) initiate medicinal chemistry efforts around specific target/target class, b) identify novel chemotypes with robust IP position, strengthen existing patent estate. Based on the screening data, Client also has an option of initiating optimization process with ChemDiv.
