Ezutromid is an orally bioavailable small molecule that transcriptionally upregulates the utrophin gene, increasing bot h utrophin mRNA and protein. Through this action, Ezutromid increases muscle function in dystrophin-deficient MDX mice, a mouse model of muscular dystrophy. |
