Marksans Pharma Wins FDA Approval for Zyrtec Copycat
Indian generic drugmaker Marksans Pharma has won FDA approval for its cetirizine hydrochloride tablets.
The antihistamine is indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis including sneezing, rhinorrhea, postnasal discharge, watery eyes and running nose.
The 10 mg and 5 mg tablets will be marketed over the counter under store brand labels and is comparable to Johnson & Johnson’s Zyrtec.
