Merck KGaA partners with Alibaba Health in China

Merck KGaA (MRK.XE) said Wednesday that it signed a collaboration agreement with Alibaba Health Information Technology Ltd. (0241.HK) to provide healthcare services in China.

The partnership will focus on drug the track and trace of drugs and internet health services, but may eventually venture into pharmaceutical e-commerce and artificial intelligence, Merck said.
