Requirements:
Advanced postdoctoral experience and two years of commercial/academic Medicinal Chemistry leadership, strong publication record and presentation skills, in-depth knowledge of current Pharma research agendas. #2 Senior Scientist – Cell Biology and Biological Assays

ChemDiv is presently seeking Senior Scientist in the field of Cellular Biology with outstanding team skills and multi-project successes. As a senior member of our Discovery outSource(TM) group, you will be responsible for support of MedChem projects and take a prominent role in partnered projects with our Pharma and Biotech customers.

Requirements:
- M.S. with three or more years’ experience, or PhD with one or more years’ experience in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology.
- Knowledge of medicinal chemistry principles is highly desirable.
- Significant experience in assay design and validation, including liquid-phase and solid-phase enzyme assays; and cell membrane, organelle, and whole cell assays.
- Hands-on experience with design and adaptation of assay reporter systems, including colorimetric, chemluminescent, and fluorescent methods. Experience with broad range of cell biology, cell physiology, and biochemistry procedures, including phase and gradient separations, filtrations, enzyme and organelle isolation and purification, qPCR, and mastery of routine and specialized cell culture. Experience with setup and operation of lab automation systems. Strong scientific writing and data presentation skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Fluency in spoken Russian is highly desirable.
